Why does my paycheck differ from this?
This is pre-tax (gross). Your take-home is reduced by federal/state/local income tax, FICA (Social Security + Medicare ~7.65%), and any benefit deductions (health, 401k).
How many work weeks should I use per year?
52 if your paid time off is folded in; 50 if you take ~2 weeks of unpaid vacation; check your contract for exact numbers.
