Frequently asked questions

High yield = good?

Not always. 7-8%+ often signals price drop or unsustainable payout (yield trap). REITs and MLPs are exceptions.

Forward vs trailing?

Trailing = last 12 months. Forward = next 12 estimated. Forward more relevant if buying now.
